Slovak movie Cenzorka wins best screenplay award at Venice Film Festival

Slovak movie Cenzorka (Censor) has won the best screenplay award at the Venice International Film Festival, the film's PR manager Zuzana Kizakova told TASR on Tuesday. The film's writers Peter Kerekes and Ivan Ostrochovsky received the award in person during the closing ceremony on Saturday night. This is the first time in the history of modern Slovak cinema that a Slovak film has won an award at this prestigious festival.
