Slovak minister: Interest in mass testing 'enourmous'

Slovaks have an "enormous" interest in the pilot phase of mass testing for Covid-19, currently taking place in three districts in Orava area (Zilina region) as well as Bardejov district (Presov region), Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad said on Friday. According to the minister, a total of 13,648 people have had themselves tested until now, with the operation detecting almost 500 positive cases. "The confirmed rate of positive cases currently stands at 3.64 percent, which essentially means that one in 30 people is positive," said the minister.
