Slovak labour minister: Decision to scrap Covid-19 sickness benefits ill-advised

November 9th, 2021

I'm not in favour of reducing COVID-19 sickness benefits back to the standard benefits level, Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and Family Milan Krajniak (We Are Family) posted on a social network on Tuesday. Krajniak responded this way to a press briefing earlier in the day, where Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OLaNO) had announced that the Government will equalise Covid-19 sickness benefits with all other diseases.
