Slovakia's Interior Ministry is launching open days at information offices for crime victims, with the information office on Tomasikova Street in Bratislava being the first to take part on Wednesday and the remaining seven set to do so over the next few days. Information offices for crime victims have been operating in all eight regional capitals in Slovakia since last year. During the open days the public will be able to learn more about a national project aimed at improving access to services for victims of crime, as well as about the activities of the contact points. Experts in several fields, such as law, psychology and sociology, will take part in the event, including Jozef Halcin, the head of the Interior Ministry's crime prevention section.
