Slovak inflation 2.3 pc in April

Year-on-year inflation in Slovakia amounted to 2.3 percent in April, with core inflation standing at 1.9 percent and net inflation at 1.6 percent, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Wednesday. In April 2019, month-on-month cumulative inflation was influenced by core inflation by 0.20 percentage points (p.p.) and by regulated prices by 0.01 p.p. Indirect taxes had no effect on cumulative inflation. Food prices influenced core inflation by 0.01 p.p. and net inflation had an impact of 0.21 p.p. on core inflation.
