The average price of housing in the first quarter of 2020 increased by 4.6 percent compared to the previous weaker quarter, representing the highest quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) growth since 2008, Slovak central bank analysts said on Tuesday. An increased rate of growth year-on-year (y-o-y) was also observed, namely from 6.4 percent y-o-y to 8.6 percent. The average prices of both flats and houses recorded more rapid growth. According to the central bank, the developing crisis has not yet manifested itself in real estate prices.
