People who received the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine against coronavirus will be given the second dose only after the period of ten weeks instead of 28 days as originally planned, TASR learnt from Health Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova on Thursday. The reasons behind this are new findings by experts and scientists at the international level. "The rescheduling of the date is in full accordance with general recommendations by the producer for the application of the second dose within 4-12 weeks," said Eliasova.
