Slovak govt submits amendment proposal to campaign funding law

On Wednesday, the Slovak government submitted an amendment proposal to the law on campaign funding. The proposal, which parliament will debate in a fast-track procedure, would close a loophole by which the government says candidates seek to increase the limit set for the cost of the election campaign by accepting funds from relatives posing as third party donors.
