Slovak government ministers and state administration bodies will need to comply with budget spending caps this year, as the government on Wednesday passed the so-called correction mechanism draft aimed at putting public finances back on track towards a balanced budget. The correction mechanism is defined in the Public Administration Budgetary Rules Act and consists of the public expenditure cap and measures to rectify significant deviations from the plan.
