Slovak government ends 'emergency circumstances' in public finances
June 30th, 2021
The Government at its session on Wednesday officially declared an end to 'emergency circumstances' in public finances, but despite this the budgetary correction mechanism won't be applied until the end of 2022. The emergency circumstances were declared in late June 2020 due to COVID-19 in order to temporarily disable the correction mechanism supposed to put the country's budget back on track to balanced figures.
