Slovak government suspends cap on state expenditures

The cap on state expenditures approved in January won't be applied this year due to the novel coronavirus outbreak and its economic effects, the government decided on Wednesday. According to the finance ministry, these "extraordinary circumstances" could be declared to be over next year if a committee observes a revival in the economy.
