Slovak finance ministry to offer loans to self-governing regions

The finance ministry will draft a scheme of potential loans for self-governing regions in Slovakia to help them navigate through the loss of tax income caused by the coronavirus outbreak, Finance Minister Eduard Heger announced on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, Heger met with representatives of the Union of Slovak Towns and Cities (UMS) at the office of the Bratislava city authority.
