Slovak finance minister releases EUR 63 m for face masks and protective equipment

Following his conference call with representatives of employers in connection with coronavirus on Monday, Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenicky has released 63 million euros for the State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR) to buy face masks and other protective equipment. The prices of this equipment are going up rapidly, but Slovakia needs to ensure that there is a sufficient supply, Kamenicky said.
