Slovak econ ministry welcomes resumption of oil supplies

The economy ministry welcomes the resumption of Russian oil supplies, indispensable for Slovakia's energy security, the ministry's press department said in response to the restoration of non-contaminated Russian oil supplies on Thursday. "The ministry closely co-ordinated its actions with other important actors in the Slovak Republic and we were prepared to respond to various scenarios of development. The ministry appreciates the professional approach displayed by Transpetrol company, Slovnaft refinery, the State Material Reserves Administration as well as the Agency for Emergency Oil and Oil Product Reserves."
