Slovak Church prepares for Cardinal Tomko's funeral, delegation to leave for Rome

The Roman Catholic Church in Slovakia is preparing for the funeral of Cardinal Jozef Tomko, who died in Rome on Monday. A delegation of bishops led by Archbishop of Bratislava Stanislav Zvolensky and Kosice Metropolitan Archbishop Bernard Bober will leave for the Italian capital on Thursday, the Slovak Bishops Conference press office has posted on its website. The final farewell for the late cardinal in the Vatican will start in St. Peter's Basilica at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
