Slovak cbank head welcomes digital euro

Peter Kazimir, the governor of the Slovak central bank, on Thursday welcomed the European Central Bank's decision to start preparing the ground for the digital euro. "A new phase of evolution of money is upon us. It concerns its form, uses you can put it to and ways where you store it, how you carry it on you and spend it," claimed the Governor, adding that the e-euro is a new chapter that will start writing its history as of this week.
