Slovak businesses call for fast, coordinated govt measures

March 13th, 2020

Slovak businesses have warned that unless the government adopts fast and coordinated measures, the consequences of the coronavirus epidemic could heavily impact the Slovak economy as there could be supply disruptions and a lack of labour. "We see a great risk in the uncoordinated approach of the state authorities..." said Slovak Business Alliance executive chief Peter Serina. According to him, businesses providing services as well as dealing with production in western Slovakia are already experiencing problems.
