Slovak budget deficit EUR 1.64 bn in Aug

Slovakia's state budget recorded a deficit of 1.64 billion euros at the end of August, going up by 896.6 million euros in year-on-year terms, the finance ministry reported on Monday. State budget revenues were up by 298.8 million euros, up by 3.3 percent year-on-year. Expenditure increased by 1.195 billion euros year-on-year, meaning by 12.3 percent.
