Slovak Buchenwald survivor dies at 88

September 16th, 2019

Slovak survivor of the Buchenwald concentration camp Alex Moskovic, a prominent activist spreading information about the Holocaust, died on Saturday at the age of 88, TASR learnt on Monday from the Facebook page of the Kinderblock 66 documentary movie. Moskovic was born in Sobrance (Kosice region). When he was 13, he and his family were taken to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland from where he was later transferred to the children's barrack in Buchenwald.
