The coronavirus pandemic spreading across Europe and related measures limiting movement and economic activity in European countries, including Slovakia, fully hit Slovakia's foreign trade in March, Lubomir Korsnak, analyst from UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, said in reaction to the trade-balance figures for March released by the Statistics Office on Thursday. "These things reflected more negatively on figures for Slovak exporters, and Slovakia's trade balance thus fell into a deep deficit, the deepest since December 2008," said Korsnak.
