The number of single-person households in Czechia rose from some 24 percent to 30 in the past 15 years, while the number of complete families made up by partners with or without children fell, but the number of households with children started rising again since 2017, statistical data show. In February 2021, there were almost 4.5 million households in the 10.5-million Czech Republic, 470,000 more than 15 years ago, the Czech Statistical Office (CSU) said. Last year, one half of all households were complete families, a married or partner couple either with or without children.
