SHMU warns of floods and hailstorms in most of Slovakia

Professional and voluntary fire-fighters are dealing with floods at the village of Pichne (Presov region) on Friday, TASR learnt from Presov Fire-fighter and Emergency Corps on the same day. "There's a great deal of water on roads, so even the volunteers have trouble getting to the village," said spokesperson Miroslava Knisova. Because of this, the fire-fighters will be able to start pumping out the water only once the water level drops.
