Senate head gives medal to outgoing Ukrainian envoy Perebyinis

head Milos Vystrcil handed the Silver Medal of the Senate to outgoing Ukrainian ambassador to the Czech Republic Yevhen Perebyinis at a ceremony in the Senate seat today. Vystrcil said Perebyinis was a man who had rendered a tremendous work for Ukraine and, thereby, also for the Czech Republic. Vystrcil also said one of the main reasons why he had decided to grant the medal was that Perebyinis had strengthened the Czech Republic. Perebyinis said the decoration was a great honour and described Vystrcil as a politician of former president Vaclav Havel's type with firm ideals.
