Senate agrees with North Macedonia joining NATO
June 12th, 2019
The Czech Senate voiced agreement with North Macedonia joining NATO today, whereby may become the 30th member country of the Alliance. The step must be approved by the parliaments of all NATO members. The Chamber of Deputies may debate North Macedonia's NATO bid during the rest of its current session. All the 52 senators present voted for the idea.
