Sejm speaker starts visit to US

Poland's Sejm (lower house) Speaker Elzbieta Witek on Tuesday will start a visit to Washington where she is scheduled to meet with Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi. While in Washington, Witek is also to hold talks with Vice-Chairman of the House Baltic Caucus Adam Schiff and John Shimkus, with Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs James E. Risch and senior US opposition Senator Robert Menendez.
