Sefcovic to negotiate EU energy interests in Moscow

The European Commission announced on Wednesday that European Commission Vice-president for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic will participate in bilateral talks with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak in Moscow on Thursday. The meeting will be focused on several topics of strategic importance including tripartite negotiations on gas between the EU, Russia and Ukraine that are supposed to secure supplies from Russia through Ukraine to the EU after 2019.
