Saxony extends quarantine exemption for Czech commuters

Saxony has extended exemptions from the COVID quarantine for Czech commuters to those working in energy industry, water management, informatics, technical services and health equipment production, Saxony Social Affairs Minister Petra Kopping told reporters today. Kopping, who is also in charge of the healthcare sector and the fight with the coronavirus pandemic, said the transitory period until the cross-border commuters gained the respective certificate from the German authorities would last by the end of this week.
