Saturday opening of Polish border does not mean lifting of limits

June 12th, 2020

The opening of the Polish border with the Czech Republic on Saturday does not mean that Czechs will be able to travel to Poland without any limitations, the Foreign Ministry said today. The reason for the ministry's note is that the duty to present a negative novel coronavirus test on return to Czechia, or entering a two-week quarantine, will be lifted on Monday. At the moment, travel without limitations is only possible to Slovakia, Austria or Hungary.
