The coalition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party condemns the behaviour of the hooligans who invaded the pitch and engaged in brawls during Sunday's Fortuna liga match between Spartak Trnava and Slovan Bratislava, and it expects exemplary punishments for both teams, SaS spokesman Ondrej Sprlak said on Monday. Education, Science, Research and Sport Ministry State Secretary Ivan Husar said in reaction that he was dismayed by the "disgusting behaviour of some fans from both camps", noting that he was doing so on behalf of all sports fans and the many children who attended the match. In his opinion, the event was mishandled in many ways. On this note, he called on the management of the league to take strong action.
