Santa nominated for post of prosecutor-general

Special prosecutor Jan Santa has become another candidate for the post of prosecutor-general, as he has been nominated for the post by OLaNO MP Juraj Gyimesi, Milan Vetrak, the (OLaNO) head of the parliamentary constitutional committee, told TASR on Tuesday. The only other known candidate so far is Jozef Centes, a prosecutor at the prosecutor-general's office. He has been nominated by ombudswoman Maria Patakyova, the Council of Prosecutors as well as several university law departments.
