Salaries up by monthly 40 euros at U.S. Steel Kosice following agreement with unions

The monthly salary of each employee at Kosice-based steel mill U.S. Steel is increasing by 40 euros per month, TASR was told by OZ KOVO U.S. Steel Kosice labour union head Juraj Varga on Wednesday. This is provided by a new amendment to the collective agreement with effect from May 1, which was signed by trade unionists and the company management on Monday. Part of the agreement is, among other things, the payment of a one-time bonus of 100 euros in December following the achievement of the economic results for the 12 months of this year.
