Russian Franchetti denies membership of paramilitary organisation
February 10th, 2022
Russian citizen Alexandr Franchetti denied the accusation that he was a member of a paramilitary organisation during the annexation of Crimea in a Czech court today. Franchetti said that along with other civilians, he was patrolling in a forest to protect the population in the vicinity of Sevastopol. The court has kept him in custody. It will decide on whether he can be extradited to Ukraine next Friday. Franchetti disagrees with his extradition.
