Russia poses 'genuine threat', says Poland's ambassador to NATO

Poland's ambassador to NATO Tomasz Szatkowski told a public radio broadcaster on Monday he believes Russia poses a "genuine threat". In an interview with Polish Radio Three, Szatkowski said "the threat from Russia is undoubtedly real," and Russia poses a genuine danger to NATO and peace. In the context of Russia's actions, "one should be careful and vigilant," he added. "I'm referring to the breaking of international law, aggressive activity, and the dimension of inter-state actions such as those which took place in the situation of Georgia, and now in eastern Ukraine," the ambassador said.
