Russia's invasion on Sept. 17, 1939 an act of aggression says Poland

September 17th, 2021

A Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman has stated that, on September 17, 1939, Soviet Russia invaded Poland in agreement with Nazi Germany and that, contrary to Russia's statement, this operation cannot be described as "a march of liberation." "The Republic of Poland had not ceased to exist on September 17, 1939," Lukasz Jasina said, adding that the residents of the areas invaded by the Red Army soon become victims of crimes committed by the Soviet state.
