Ruling party tops support poll, opposition not far behind

The ruling party, Law and Justice (PiS), holds the top position in a new survey by the Kantar pollster with 30-percent backing, but it is followed closely by Poland's main opposition grouping, Civic Coalition (KO), which has 25 percent support. The grassroots conservative movement, Poland 2050, placed third with 9-percent backing and was followed by the Confederation party with 8 percent and the Left with 5-percent support.
