Ruling party takes big lead in parliamentary election poll

October 9th, 2019

According to a new poll by IBRiS for the Onet portal, 44.3 pct of those surveyed intend to vote for the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, 22.7 pct for the opposition Civil Coalition (KO) and 31.8 pct for the Left bloc. With 6.2 pct of the votes, the Polish People's Party (PSL) together with Kukiz'15 would also enter the Sejm (lower house). The Confederation (Konfederacja) (KORWiN and the National Movement), with 3.5 pct support, would not win any parliamentary seats. A total of 9.5 pct of the pollees were undecided.
