Ruling party leads in latest poll

May 6th, 2021

Poland's governing Law and Justice (PiS) party would win a May 9 election, ahead of the Poland 2050 and Civic Coalition (KO) opposition groupings, the wp.pl portal wrote on Thursday in a survey. According to wp.pl, PiS would get 35.4 percent of the vote, Poland 2050 20.4 percent, KO 15.1 percent. Also making it into the lower house would be The Left with 10.4 percent, the ultra-right Confederation with 5.7 percent and the agrarian Polish People's Party (PSL), which would finish just above the 5-percent parliamentary threshold with 5.1 percent.
