October 10th, 2019

Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party enjoys 42.6-percent voter support ahead of the October 13 parliamentary elections, according to the results of a survey by the IBRiS pollster. The Civic Coalition (KO), an electoral alliance that integrates the major opposition party Civic Platform (PO), Nowoczesna and local-government activists, would get 22.5-pct support, according to the poll. The Left (Lewica) bloc comprising Poland's liberal and left-wing parties, the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), Spring and Together, would win 13.1 percent of the vote. The agrarian Polish People's Party (PSL) would also make it to parliament with 6.9 percent support.
