Ruling party delays presentation of 'New Deal' scheme, citing epidemic concerns

The major ruling party, Law and Justice (PiS), has decided to delay the presentation of its New Polish Deal programme, PiS spokesperson Anita Czerwinska told PAP, citing high increases in Covid infections. The New Polish Deal programme includes support schemes for domestic enterprise, new investment and development projects, as well as reforms of the health-care system, social welfare, education, environmental and energy policies.
