Right to use weapon in defence to be enshrined in Czech constitution

A proposal to enshrine the right to use weapons in self-defence in the Czech constitution was passed by the Chamber of Deputies on Friday. The motion was a reaction to attempts in the European Union to limit the acquisition and possession of firearms. To take effect, the amendment needs to be approved by the Senate.
