Gender inequality in the state and public sectors is much lower than in the private sector, Jan Richter, the minister for labour, family and social affairs, said on Monday after a session of the Economic and Social Council that dealt with a Summary Report on the State of Gender Equality in 2018. Richter said conditions for women and men in the state and public sectors were balanced and that more women than men had been working there. The minister stressed the importance of balance in the private sector as well.
