Reproduction number gets under 1, epidemic slows down in Czechia

The reproduction number of the COVID-19 disease today dropped to 0.97 in Czechia, which means that the epidemic started slowing down, according to the latest data that the Health Ministry released on its website. The reproduction number, which shows the average number of people infected by one person with COVID, was 1.01 on Monday. It was more than one from early February. At the end of February, the number reached up to 1.23 and has been decreasing since then.
