Investment Minister and head of the coalition For the People party Veronika Remisova said on Wednesday before the government session that she aims to propose to Health Minister Marek Krajci that Slovakia should change its vaccination strategy so that the vaccine from AstraZeneca can be administered to people aged over 55. "We should inoculate elderly patients, even before employees working in critical infrastructure," the minister noted, pointing to high numbers of such patients in hospitals and the grave epidemic situation. According to Remisova, the current vaccination strategy "still has some holes" and if they were removed, the number of inoculated people would increase.
