The state intends to intensify cooperation with secondary schools in order to educate future IT specialists, Vice-premier and Informatisation Minister Veronika Remisova told a news conference held during the ITAPA international conference on Monday. The minister believes that there's a need to encourage interest among secondary school students in working with digital technologies. She emphasised that potential IT specialists also need to be sought among women and girls, as only a low proportion of women are engaged in this sector in Slovakia.
