Slovak central bank (NBS) Governor Peter Kazimir should follow the example of Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and resign, Vice-premier and Investment Minister Veronika Remisova told a news conference on Wednesday. Remisova reacted in this way to the news that the Special Prosecutor's Office has pressed charges of bribery against Kazimir. "I think that Mr. Kazimir should step down on his own," noted the minister, adding it's inappropriate for any institution to be led by a charged person.
