Reaction to the COVID pandemic, which hit different states each to a different extent, posed an unprecedented challenge to most governments with its impact on the health as well as the economy and people's welfare, Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said at the Czech-African Health Forum today. At the two-day Prague forum opened by Lipavsky, representatives of eight African countries and six African health ministers are negotiating with the Czech partners about the tackling of the epidemic and about financing and reinforcing the healthcare sector. Czech companies, too, will present themselves at the forum.
