Rau: Europe can't defend itself without USA

The current security crisis shows that Europe cannot defend itself without help from the United States, the Polish foreign minister said on Tuesday. Speaking at the opening of a meeting of Polish ambassadors in Warsaw, Zbigniew Rau said Poland saw American leadership as key in defence and strengthening the international order, and in an effective NATO based on solidarity.
