Rate of population decline increases in Jan-March - KSH

There were fewer births and more deaths in Hungary in the first three months of the year compared with the same period a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday. Fully 4.3 percent fewer children (20,830) were born between January and March compared with the same months a year earlier, while the number of deaths (37,578) increased by 1.6 percent.
