Rainbow flag hoisting opens Prague Pride LGBT festival

The 12th Prague Pride, an annual week-long festival of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people (LGBT), started with hoisting a rainbow flag at the Prague City Hall today, running through August 14 and offering 150 events, its director Tom Bily and Prague officials have told media. The programme will culminate with a carnival parade in the centre of Prague on Saturday.
