Radicova leaves Slovakia's SDKU-DS for good, sending letter

Former Prime Minister Iveta Radicova left SDKU-DS party on Thursday, sending a recommended letter to the party's headquarters, internet portal of SME daily reports. Radicova was expected to say goodbye at SDKU-DS's congress on May 19, but she states in the letter that she doesn't see any reason why to take part in the event. "After the fall of my government [in October 2011], I announced that I would leave the politics. This statement holds true," she said.
